Manchester comedy audiences can catch two hot Edinburgh Fringe shows in development this summer as Welsh comedian and podcast host Vix Leyton brings her comedy lecture Chief Petty Officer to Fairfield Social Club for a special double bill with award-winning comedian, writer and musician Andrew O’Neill. Blending stand-up, storytelling and big ideas, the night pairs Leyton’s forensic exploration of petty grudges, passive aggression and historical spite with O’Neill’s surreal, counter-cultural comedy, honed across television, radio and international touring. ​

Girth Digital, a small marketing agency in Manchester, is sold by its owner to a wealthy but uninformed buyer. The new boss means well but knows nothing, and the staff have no choice but to hold things together to keep the business afloat.

From PR crises to problematic products and services, Agency follows the staff through the chaotic projects thrown at them, all while navigating professional and personal relationships.

The show re-imagines the TV sitcom as a stage show, performing multiple episodes and with recurring characters.
