Launching on Friday 16th May at Fairfield Social, Club Comedy MCR and Josh Jones are bringing a brand new monthly comedy night to the heart of Manchester. Expect an evening of loud stand-up, belly laughs and big names under one roof at Fairfield Social Club
You might know host Josh Jones from national TV, lighting up shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, Late Night Mash and most recently starring on Dancing On Ice. Now he’s back where it all began, bringing some of the UK's best new acts for a full comedy showdown!
With a bill packed with the best in British stand-up talent, big laughs and even bigger community spirit, all on the stage of Manchester’s best alternative events space, Fairfield Social Club. The opening night reflects a mix of favourites and rising stars, with FSC’s authentic atmosphere welcoming first-timers and comedy die-hards alike as big names take centre stage.
The big night out opening lineup is set to feature top talent from all over the UK, including:
Beth Moore is a true definition of the manc feminist comic and writer. Her comedy predominantly focuses on film, media, and culture, but to this, she brings the ferocity and energy of a punk front woman. With a regular slot at Chortle Award Winning, cult comedy show CroppaChoppa’s Slumber Party, described as “Arguably, the most fun night of comedy in Manchester” (Manchester Wire).
Louise Young - A sharp & hilarious mind who has become one of the biggest new names on the comedy circuit! Straight from Newcastle, fresh off touring with comedic stars Alan Carr and Jason Manford, Louise Young brings the laughs and big night energy.
Morgan Rees - This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. A BBC New Comedy Award finalist and one of the most exciting new voices coming through
Faizan Shah - One of Manchester’s brightest new talents, known for his well-crafted jokes and warm, relatable stories about growing up in an immigrant household.
